The Brief
FBD required a full refurbishment of their Wicklow office to modernize the workspace, improve acoustic performance, enhance the customer experience, and create a clear separation between public and staff areas. The project involved complete interior updates, new flooring, enhanced media integration, new office furniture, joinery works, and a full repaint of the premises.

Scope of Works
1. Acoustic Partition & Space Reconfiguration
To clearly divide the front client-facing zone from the staff-only workspace at the rear, we supplied and installed a 5.5m-long x 1.5m-high acoustic wall complete with an integrated door.
This ensured:
- Improved sound isolation
- Increased privacy
- A more structured flow of movement through the office
2. Flooring Works
The project required a full flooring overhaul including the uplift and disposal of 140m² of existing flooring.
New finishes installed included:
- 70m² of Desso Grezzo carpet tiles for staff areas
- 70m² of Liberty Urban 55 Rural Oak flooring for public area
This combination delivered durability, visual impact, and acoustic comfort.
3. Media & Digital Display Integration
To enhance internal communications and client engagement, we supplied and installed:
- Dual-sided media screens positioned for maximum visibility
- Internal media screens for staff operations and digital signage
These systems were integrated seamlessly into the new layout.
4. Furniture Supply
We provided a full suite of office furniture tailored to FBD’s operational needs and design standards, ensuring comfort, durability, and a modern aesthetic.
5. Painting & Decorative Works
All decorative surfaces were professionally refinished, including:
- Walls
- Internal doors, Architraves, and Skirtings
- Balustrades
This created a cohesive and fresh visual identity throughout the office.
6. Window Blinds
We supplied and installed new blinds for windows, providing improved light control and a clean, modern look.
7. Door Replacement & Branding
The refurbishment included:
- Replacement of internal doors
- Installation of a new front entrance door
- Application of a custom FBD-branded decal to reinforce corporate identity at the point of entry
